Qatar Lebanon Israel Gas Deal
Qatar is trying to bully its way into Lebanon’s gas deal. After Lebanon cut a gas deal with Israel, now all of the sudden Qatar is trying to get in the middle and take a piece of the pie. This is not uncommon in the oil and gas industry, as nations often lust for power and try to squeeze one another for limited natural resources throughout the globe to advance their interests. Gas deals are occurring on a global scale as the price of fuel keeps rising and wars, along with rumors of war, increase and escalate throughout the world following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
