Transitioning into something new can be challenging when you do not fully know what to expect, have unrealistic expectations, or are unaware of what awaits you around the corner. Others are somewhat misinformed about the whole college experience and do not realize the amount of work involved when studying at an academic institution of higher education. A whole new level of commitment, consecration and dedication will be required and needed to succeed. The social aspects are often appealing to high school youth eager to move away from parents and live on their own. Yet, when doing so, you must realize you now are in charge of everything from your meals, bedtime, study habits, discipline, eating choices, exercise, sleep, church and ensuring you live a healthy well balanced life.
